What you will be doing:
The Compliance Senior Manager supports the Compliance Officer & CISO with compliance, risk management projects, and ITSCo processes. They work with stakeholders to ensure compliance, assist with documentation and regular reporting, and update leadership on status. The role requires flexibility due to evolving requirements.
Key responsibilities include overseeing compliance and independence operations, focusing on adherence to PwC Network Risk Management standards across the entity, but with a particular focus on US subsidiary compliance.
- Lead daily independence processes and onboarding compliance.
- Guide stakeholders on policy matters and jurisdictional issues.
- Maintain accurate records (e.g., Checkpoint for US pension).
- Manage annual compliance confirmations and training.
- Support ethics cases and ad-hoc independence projects.
- Ensure adherence to PwC network standards (e.g., audit, sanctions, ethics).
- Develop policies, conduct risk assessments, and manage audits.
- Support training, communication, and compliance reporting.
- Run the ITSCo Risk Committee and maintain audit/action plans.
- Track compliance metrics and update policies.
- Deliver training and awareness programs.
- Minimum of 6 years in compliance, risk, or information security roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Systems Analysis, MIS, or related fields.
- Preferred certifications: PMP, risk management, or compliance qualifications.
- Strong autonomy and initiative; ability to independently adapt to changes.
- Expertise in task-planning, resource allocation, and project management.
- Proven success managing ambiguity and evolving compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective conflict resolution and negotiation within complex contexts.
- Experience in fast-paced environments; ability to prioritize effectively.
- Collaborative team player with strong independent work capabilities.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills for all staff levels.
- Capability to build relationships and apply business analysis skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Knowledge of PwC Independence rules and data protection (e.g., GDPR).
- Strong risk management and global business acumen.
- Ability to design and improve operational processes.
