NPD Support Manager
As NPD Support Manager you’ll play a critical role in coordinating and implementing new product development (NPD) projects. This includes launching new products according to JTI standards, procedures, and specifications while meeting client cost and timing requirements. You’ll lead the optimization of product development processes and specifications, ensuring high product quality, efficient material performance on production lines, reduced complexity, and cost savings. Additionally, you will ensure all activities align with JTI’s internal rules, legal standards, and the IWS system requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the seamless launch of new product development projects, ensuring all meet JTI standards for quality, timing, and cost
- Take responsibility of the PLM related questions on GSC side and provide support to markets assigned ( stakeholders)
- Drive feasibility assessments and optimize specifications to boost product quality, streamline production, and reduce costs
- Ensure all regulatory and SKU requirements are met for smooth, compliant product launches
- Oversee accurate and timely data management, keeping cross-functional teams aligned
- Champion the validation of new materials and specification changes in SAP, partnering with R&D to keep production agile
- Track team performance and project timelines, continuously identifying improvements for faster, smarter outcomes
- Education University degree
- Work experience Minimum of 2-3 years of experience
- Language Fluent English and Romanian, both verbal and written
- Systems Experience in Project Management represents a plus. SAP knowledge is a plus
- Other skills and knowledge
- Proficiency in MS Office; SAP would be an advantage
- Advanced understanding of products and processes knowledge
- Good understanding of New Product Development
- Project Management/Statistics skills
