BioSonic is redefining how the world measures biodiversity, using sound and AI models we've built from scratch. We're growing fast, customer demand is exploding, and we're looking for someone to own the product.

The Role

We're not looking for someone to execute tasks. We're looking for a builder and owner who wants to shape and lead the entire product, from audio files hitting our servers to AI insights reaching our customers. You'll own the product, the user experience, and the systems that tie it all together. You'll work directly with the founding team to define what we build, how we build it, and where we take this company.

What You'll Own

• The complete product experience: Data pipelines, infrastructure, and customer-facing applications
• Technical architecture decisions across our stack
• Shape the technical direction of the company from startup to industry leader

You

• Think most companies move way too slow
• Take extreme ownership and pride in your work
• Have worked in a startup and loved the pace
• Automate things by instinct, if you do something twice, you script it
• See problems before anyone else does, and fix them before anyone notices
• Are extremely driven and hard worker who want to build something big and new
• Take full ownership: You don't wait for instructions, you figure it out
• Are a strong problem solver who thrives on novel challenges

Technical

• Python (automation, scripting, backend)
• AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, the whole ecosystem)
• JavaScript/React

Bonus

• Databases and SQL
• Comfortable with hardware and server setups
• Converted web portals to desktop

Location

• Remote + optional coworking in Stockholm/Gothenburg with the founding team.
