Merzigo is currently seeking a highly experienced and self-driven Senior Frontend Developer to join our remote technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable and responsive web applications using modern frontend technologies with a focus on performance, maintainability, and quality.

You will play a key part in the product development lifecycle, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features that are aligned with business goals and technical standards. Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and deployment of frontend modules and features
• Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure productive and efficient development
• Contribute to technical documentation and architecture discussions
• Write unit tests for developed modules
• Deliver challenging projects on time and in line with quality and roadmap expectations
• Ensure customer satisfaction through reliable and user-focused interfaces
• Support the testing and release process, and take ownership of resolving issues during these stages
• Propose and develop PoC (Proof of Concept) implementations to introduce new ideas and improvements
• Research emerging frontend technologies and share knowledge with the team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science
• Minimum 7 years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React
• In-depth knowledge of Redux, Hooks, HTTP, XML, JSON, and RESTful APIs
• Advanced experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
• Proficient in HTML/CSS and building responsive, mobile-friendly designs
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps
• Experience with Clean Code standards, code review processes, and refactoring best practices
• Basic understanding of microservices architecture (preferred)
• Hands-on experience or knowledge of unit testing frameworks
• Experience in developing SEO-friendly frontend applications
• Prior experience in Agile development environments
