ROLE SUMMARY

The Graduate Trainee – Data Protection will support the organisation’s data privacy, governance, and compliance activities while developing foundational skills in information security and regulatory frameworks. The trainee will assist in maintaining data governance documentation, supporting privacy assessments, reviewing compliance processes, and coordinating with internal stakeholders.

ROLE PROFILE

• Support data privacy and protection activities across the business
• Help maintain data governance documentation and compliance trackers
• Participate in audits, assessments, and risk reviews
• Assist in reviewing processes against GDPR, PDPL, and internal policies
• Contribute to awareness initiatives and training materials
• Ensure ethical and secure data handling at all times

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Data Science, or related field
• 0–1 year of experience
• Interest in data protection, privacy laws, governance, or cybersecurity
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a structured development program
