Senior iOS Engineer
Remote (Must overlap with PST for a good portion of the day)
Long-term 3-5 year +
We’re looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to help expand product experiences across iPhone, iPad, tvOS, and desktop. This role is hands-on and technical, focused on building flexible, scalable components and solving real engineering problems that shape the user experience across devices.
You’ll work across Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, contribute to architectural decisions, and play a key part in delivering polished, high-quality applications. tvOS experience isn’t required but is a strong bonus. Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is also a big plus.
What You’ll Do
- Build, ship, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Work closely with product and design to deliver features accurately and efficiently.
- Translate Figma designs into production-ready UI and build custom components as needed.
- Troubleshoot issues, improve performance, and ensure reliability across existing systems.
- Own the full development lifecycle—from concept to App Store release to ongoing maintenance.
- Contribute to CI/CD efforts using GitHub Actions and support continuous delivery practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident management for production systems.
- Build or support components for tvOS applications.
- Work with focus-based navigation, remote interactions, and AVKit/AVFoundation for TV environments.
What You Bring
- 4+ years of commercial iOS development experience with shipped apps under your belt.
- Strong proficiency in Swift, modern iOS APIs, and Apple development tools (Xcode, Instruments, etc.).
- Experience in multi-developer environments, including App Store build creation and submission.
- Solid background integrating with APIs (REST, JSON-RPC, gRPC, WebSockets).
- Good understanding of alerting, monitoring, code coverage, automated testing, and integration testing.
- Strong communication skills and confidence collaborating across teams.
- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) or similar shared-code approaches is a big plus.
- Familiarity with modular architectures or shared component libraries.
- Bonus points for tvOS experience or media playback work with AVKit/AVFoundation.
