What You’ll Achieve
An opening based in Singapore Design Centre (SDC) for Agile Scrum Master of Global Regulations/Standards and Environmental Affairs is available.
The primary responsibility is coordinating cross-functional development using Agile principles and scrum tools. Assumes a leadership role to support a self-organized team, aiding in removing impediments. Serves as the primary facilitator for scrum events and acts as the team’s metrics expert. Coaches team members on scrum success and protect against conflicting demands.
Use for jobs that are responsible for development of external and Internal customer products. Jobs that are responsible for development of internal systems and applications should use jobs in the Information Technology group.
You will:
- Facilitate all scrum events and promote continuous improvement by creating an environment where scrum can thrive. Maintain all necessary measurements that assess the team's health
- Apply a strong understanding of the Agile methodology, principles, tools, and applications that support Agile ways of working . Capture and champion resolution of impediments while facilitating communications across teams
- Coach team members in the Agile framework. Assist product owner with product backlog management, refinement, and ingestion of new requests
- Monitor the scrum processes and meetings with a focus on team efficiency
- Introduce changes that will ensure quality and timeliness

Essential Requirements
- Requires 15+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Serves as an expert in the field and principal advisor. Provides, guides and uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues. Applies extensive knowledge of theories, practices and design matters
- Leads the application of existing principles and guides development of new ideas. Works on issues that impact program success or addresses future concepts and products. Solutions are devised based on limited information and requires judgment. Implementation of solutions requires a longer-term view which impacts strategic goals and objectives
- Track record of being an enthusiastic and effective team player with experience leading and influencing internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
- Exceptional organizational and communications skills.
- Education in Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical or other related subjects.
- Knowledge on product compliance, in Safety, EMC, Wireless, Telecom and Environmental (e.g. Energy, Material, ECO Labels, Accessibility, Repairability, Packaging and etc.) legislation programs will be a plus.
