This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Muscat. The Accountant will handle daily financial transactions, prepare financial statements, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities also include preparing financial reports, managing budgets, assisting with audits, and providing support for tax preparation and filing. The role requires close collaboration with clients and other team members to maintain accurate financial records and provide valuable insights into business operations.
- Expertise in accounting practices, financial reporting, and preparation of financial statements
- Knowledge of taxation laws, tax preparation, and compliance regulations
- Skills in account reconciliation, auditing, and budget management
- Familiarity with financial consultancy and business analysis
- Attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and strong analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are an advantage
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in a financial consultancy or auditing firm is a plus
- Ability to work with accuracy under deadlines in a dynamic environment
