Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for

Data Engineer to join a team which plays a central role in digitization and data analysis in the company. The team is responsible for the implementation of Data & AI activities and supports automotive brand globally and across departments. This role involves planning, development, and implementation of new data ingests ( e.g the Cloud Data Hub or FG AI environment)

• Solid background of work at AWS S3 bucket, AWS Glue, Data Catalogue and Crawler, AWS Lambda
• Experience in Streaming services (e.g., Kafka)
• Usage GitHub Actions for deployment
• Expertise in Python
• Deep understanding of Data modeling and Data migration
• Experience with the project approach of agile development
• English– Upper Intermediate is required
• German – will be a plus
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent certification. Automotive experience – will be a plus
• Strong collaborative and problem-solving skills, driving data-driven decision-making and measurable outcomes
• Written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Team player attitude

Selection process

If your application is selected, our hiring process will typically include the following steps:

• HR Interview: A short initial call with our HR specialist to discuss your experience, expectations, and answer any preliminary questions.
• Technical Interview(s): One in-depth interview with our technical expert and delivery managers. In these sessions, we will explore your technical skills (including Snowflake and API development experience) and may include a practical case study or coding task to assess your problem-solving approach.
• Final Interview: A final discussion which could be with project leaders. This is to evaluate team fit, address any remaining questions, and discuss potential project assignments.
