This role is for an on-site PHP Laravel Developer based in India to join a product-focused engineering team driving high-quality back-end delivery.

Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and extend server-side features using Laravel and PHP following clean code and SOLID principles.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring secure, versioned, and well-documented endpoints for web and mobile clients.
- Optimize database schemas and queries in MySQL to improve performance and scalability; implement Eloquent-based data access patterns.
- Create and maintain unit and integration tests (PHPUnit) and participate in automated CI/CD pipelines and code reviews.
- Collaborate with front-end engineers, QA, and product owners to translate requirements into robust, maintainable functionality.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes while maintaining application reliability and observability.
Must-Have
- Proven hands-on experience with Laravel
- Strong proficiency in PHP
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Production experience with MySQL and query optimization
- Version control using Git and familiarity with branching strategies
- Experience with Composer and PHP package management
