Network Engineer | $175K Base + Super | Canberra | NV1 + OSA 

We are working with a Canberra-based cyber security consultancy that’s growing fast and delivering high-impact work across government and critical infrastructure. They’re on the hunt for a permanent Network Engineer with strong security credentials to join their team.

 The Essentials

  • Location: Canberra, ACT (on-site or hybrid options available)
  • Salary: $175,000 base + super
  • Clearance: NV1 (active) – must-have
  • Certifications: OSA from ACIC or ASD - beneficial 
About the Role

You’ll be joining a tight-knit, high-performing team of cyber professionals working on secure network architecture, implementation, and support for sensitive environments. This is a hands-on engineering role with real-world impact.

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in network engineering within secure or classified environments
  • Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in high-trust settings
  • NV1 clearance and OSA from ACIC or ASD 
Nice to Have

  • Experience working with government or defence sector clients
  • Certifications like CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or similar
  • Familiarity with zero-trust architectures, SIEM, IDS/IPS
