The Capabilities Strategy Project Manager is aligned with the Marketing Capabilities team within the Marketing Capabilities & Agency Services (MC&AS) team, part of the broader Marketing + Communications (M+C) Intelligent Services group, ensuring marketing teams operate at world-class levels. This role supports high-profile, cross-team initiatives like Opensense, SynOps for M+C, and CDP, by managing project roadmaps, plans, and key deliverables such as Project Charters and Process Flows, while maximizing cross-team communication efficiency. The Project Manager will report to the Capabilities Strategy Team Lead, work closely with project leads, and develop a high-level understanding of M+C MarTech to provide agile project management support and hands-on assistance with core project deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain trusted relationships across M+C, MO, CIO, Digital Strategy, Accenture Song, external vendors, etc.
Frequent exposure and interaction with senior level leadership (L6 and above) on high priority M+C-wide initiatives
Support project management tasks for high-profile projects by working closely with the Capabilities Strategy team lead with a consolidated and consistent roadmap and project plan (example projects include: Opensense, SynOps for M+C Initiatives, CDP, and Reinvention of the Preference Center and Cookies Experience)
Partner with M+C stakeholders and team leads to define charter, rules of engagement framework, project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Help facilitate working sessions, including scheduling calendar invites, taking and distributing detailed notes, with outcomes and actions
Oversee the strategy, logistics and agenda of the various meetings in collaboration the team leads
Hands-on contribution in development and delivery of key project deliverables like Project Charters, Use Cases, Personas, Requirements, Process Flows, Change Management resources, etc.
Manage the detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
Maintain changes to the project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques
Ensure that all project milestones are delivered on-time, within the scope and within budget
Knowledge of the requirements, timelines, and deliverables on all projects, as well as advising on areas of risk, raising issues early and providing work-in-progress status
Be proactive in raising awareness and escalating risks and challenges within project timeline, scope
Manage across multiple workstreams centered around the strategy and delivery
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, project management qualifications a plus
2-5 years project manager/coordinator and some marketing experience
Advance English level
Experience and Skills:
Exposure to various project tools and methodologies and experience in project management
Excellent and proactive written and oral communication, with good listening and presentation skills
Results driven, detail oriented and well organized, with strong planning and coordination
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Knowledge of Martech platforms, Agile delivery framework and cross-channel marketing
Proficiency in MS Suite and other tools – MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Workfront, Monday.com
Strong collaboration, interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
Proactive team player with ability to work with ambiguity
Produce high-quality, detailed work as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team
