Context :

For our client in the automotive sector, located in Braine-l'Alleud, we are looking for a Software Project Manager.

Mission :

Main interface for SW related topics between the customer and our team, for one particular project. Tasks will vary between project management and technical supervision (embedded C environment, software) with interactions between teams and clients.

Main Tasks :

• In direct contact with our customers and the development teams in Europe and Japan, as well as with various other departments within the company and our customers, you will gather, analyse and synthesise all the information needed to reach a consensus on the product specifications.
• You independently plan development and validation activities between the various parties involved, negotiating with each of them to find the best solution for their needs.
• Acting as the main point of contact for the development of these products, you will propose and implement technical and organisational solutions that meet the requirements of the various parties involved and enable projects to progress through to completion.
• You report to management on the progress of projects and issues to be resolved during development (e.g. quality issues, changes to the original project requested by customers, issues affecting the schedule, etc.).
• You will support the Sales and Quality Assurance teams in technical negotiations with our car manufacturer customers.

Profile

• An engineering master degree in electricity, electronics, electromechanics or IT
• Communication, organizational, and managerial skills.
• English (French is a plus)
• Minimum 5 years of experience (with at least 3 in project management)
• Open to Business trip : approximately 2 to 3 days every two months, to visit our European customers
• Embedded Software Programming is a big asset
• Cybersecurity is facultative
