People & Culture Manager, NEFAB Germany

Nefab Group is on a growth journey and we are dependent on high-performance people to succeed. Our human resources organization is vital for us for legal compliance and efficient day-to-day operations. We are now looking for an People & Culture Manager to join our team in NEFAB Germany.

As the People & Culture Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Develop unified HR policies and ways of working for all Nefab Germany sites.
  • Advise and support managers and internal stakeholders concerning all HR related matters within their department and formulate and present possible solutions.
  • Support and/or coach managers regarding the development, implementation, and execution of people management activities within their department and/or team in line with HR policies, procedures, processes and tools.
  • Answer questions from employees with regards to employment contracts, compensation and benefits.
  • Provide input and/or execute for the optimization of HR policies, procedures, processes and tools.
  • Issue advice regarding personnel development and staffing.
  • Drive, support and execute the recruitment & selection process including employer branding.
  • Monitor (sickness)absence policy and guide employees and managers in this process.
  • Monitor, measure, benchmark and evaluate bottlenecks considering business needs and HR processes and initiate and implement changes and potential improvements.
  • Provide regular insights regarding developments in the company and the market to management and/or relevant stakeholders, both quantitative and qualitative, by means of periodical reports based on (internal) reporting guidelines.
  • Keep knowledge up to date with relevant developments, monitor internal and external developments and share relevant information.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Support the administrative part of the new hire process (screening, contracts, updating of HR systems, relations with agencies)
  • Execute payroll and employee administration (contracts, updating HR related systems) and supervise external payroll provider.

You will be part of Germany's management team. In HR you will work closely with the leaders of other departments for smooth operations and to implement improvements in the organization.

This position is located in the north of Stuttgart, supplemented with occasional on-site support in Hamburg and Berlin, and you will report to the local Managing Director.

Your profile

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or similar field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant HR experience gained in construction, production or manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of HR laws, pending legislation and understanding of management principles and techniques.
  • Ability to travel to the different sites in Germany (Hamburg, Stuttgart and Berlin).
  • Good command of the German and English language both written and verbal.
  • Competencies: Strong interpersonal relationship skills, communication skills, service oriented, teamwork, results orientation, adaptability, planning and organizing, organizational sensitivity, persuasiveness.
