What is the purpose of the role?

The Data Scientist/Data Science Engineer role focuses on developing and implementing advanced data-driven methodologies to uncover actionable insights and enable process optimization. This position is pivotal in shaping the core analytical capabilities of KYP.ai, including deterministic and AI-based algorithms, data processing frameworks, and impactful visualizations, to drive organizational transformation and enhance decision-making.

What can you do with us?

• Develop and implement algorithms ranging from deterministic rules to AI-based solutions to enhance KYP.ai’s analytical capabilities.
• Deliver data-driven process discovery and automated business recommendations, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
• Collaborate with Developers, Architects and Product Owners/Business Analysts to design and improve data structures, pipelines, and handling processes.
• Provide expertise in data quality assessment, transformation, and integration during customer project exploration phases.
• Build intuitive and effective data visualizations to communicate insights and support decision-making.
• Evaluate proof of concepts and prioritize their implementation based on business value and feasibility.
• Conduct research on cutting-edge methodologies in data engineering, interpretation, and machine learning to inform product enhancements.
• Act as a subject-matter expert in data analysis during pre-sales and implementation phases, contributing to high-impact customer outcomes.

What should you bring to KYP.ai?

• Proven experience in Data Engineering, Data Science, or Big Data (minimum 3+ years preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing, analysis, and algorithm development.
• Hands-on experience with tools for handling large-scale, sparse datasets and graph databases.
• Familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI and data analytics libraries in Python or R.
• Solid understanding of data pipeline creation, data cleaning, transformation, and integration techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to assess data quality and interpret results in a business context.
• Experience with machine learning concepts and their practical application in solving business problems.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
