Backend Developer internship

iAs a Backend Developer Intern at Tripjoin, you will collaborate with our engineering team to design, build, and maintain server-side features that power our travel-focused platform. You’ll work with modern backend technologies, contribute to API development, improve system performance, and help ensure a reliable and scalable infrastructure.

• Assist in developing and maintaining backend services, APIs, and database structures.
• Work closely with senior engineers to implement new features and improve existing functionality.
• Debug, test, and optimize server-side logic to ensure smooth platform performance.
• Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure seamless integration between backend and user-facing components.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in backend development.

• Knowledge of backend programming languages such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud services.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Strong analytical skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.

• Experience with frameworks like Express, Django, or Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization systems (JWT, OAuth).
• Understanding of deployment or DevOps concepts.
