Position

The Business Analyst lntern will assist the Controlling Director and the WW CFO analyzing the sales performance for Fendi stores and identify sales opportunities (new clients, locals, Icons.).The position is based in Rome.

He/She will contribute to strategic plan modelization in perspective of long term development of our retail activities be the main mission of the learning project

Job Responsibilities

  • Sales Performance Analysis: Support the detailed analysis of sales performance for Fendi stores, identifying trends, opportunities (e.g., new clients, local clients, iconic products), and Perform Productivity/Performance analysis (e.g., HH/LL Analysis) to evaluate performance by store, country, and zone, based on key retail indicators.
  • Reporting & Presentations: Collaborate with the Controlling Director and WW CFO in preparing presentations and reports for the Senior Leadership Team and business reviews.
  • Strategic Planning Support: Contribute to the preparation of materials for the Three-Year Plan and Budget process.
  • Competitor Analysis: Elaborate and monitor competitor analyses, tracking industry publications and Group brand data. Prepare regular reports and communications for Top Management.
  • Financial Analyses: Support financial analyses on different lines of the P&L to analyze trends, and optimization opportunities
  • Special Projects: Depending on the candidate's skillset, this could include the integration of existing reporting into Power BI dashboards and/or the development of new, more dynamic reports.

Profile

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • IT Skills: Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Power BI Knowledge: Previous experience working with Power BI is a significant plus.
  • Languages: Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working autonomously.
    • Strong interest in the luxury and retail sectors.
