What are the main responsibilities of this role?

  • Collaborate with the art team to create and optimize high-quality character deformations, rigs, and skins to enhance animation quality and efficiency.
  • Develop and optimize character rigging and skinning processes to enhance animation quality and efficiency.
  • Implement advanced deformation techniques to achieve stylized character movements and expressions.
  • Ensure seamless integration of character assets into the game engine while maintaining performance standards.


What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years working in the games industry in Technical Art/Rigging.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Maya, Blender, or equivalent software for character animation and rigging.
  • Familiarity with Unity particle system, shaders and simulations.
  • Extensive character rigging, texturing and UV experience.
  • Understanding of the methods for optimizing assets for mobile devices.
