Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Client Onboarding to coordinate and lead the implementation of new operational flows across multiple business lines. This role requires strong cross-functional leadership, hands-on project management skills, and deep expertise within the fund industry. You will ensure all operational teams are aligned and fully prepared for onboarding, migrations, and post-implementation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination & Implementation
- Coordinate the implementation of new operational flows across Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Custody, Banking Services and other internal teams.
- Ensure all workflows, systems, and stakeholders are aligned and fully ready for launch.
- Migration & Operational Readiness
- Prepare and oversee operational takeovers and migration activities.
- Manage internal and external communication relating to migrations and go-live events.
- Governance & Reporting
- Establish and lead dedicated governance structures (internal and external).
- Prepare progress reports, track milestones, and communicate risks or escalations to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure all documentation, governance processes, and reporting standards are adhered to.
- Post-Migration Support
- Lead and moderate aftercare activities following migration or onboarding events.
- Oversee issue resolution, stabilisation, and handover to BAU teams.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in client onboarding, fund events, or related operational project management within the asset management or fund services industry.
- Strong understanding of fund operations—particularly Fund Accounting, TA, Custody, and related banking services.
- Proven experience in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and governance skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fully on-site, collaborative environment.
