About The Role

We are seeking a seasoned design professional to join a collaborative environment where you will be instrumental in building amazing experiences. You will work alongside product, business, engineering, and data colleagues, defining innovative solutions grounded in research insights and data. Your work will directly influence the user journey, ensuring concrete design solutions align with established brand guidelines and design systems. This role is perfect for someone ambitious and driven, who thrives on challenging the status quo and delivering impactful results.

This is a 6-months salaried position, with the possibility for extension.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the contracting nature of this role, only candidates with the unrestricted right to work in The Netherlands will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional design team, partnering with product, business, engineering, and data experts to create exceptional user experiences.
• Define user-centered design solutions, leveraging research insights and data to inform strategic decisions.
• Translate complex requirements into concrete, actionable design work, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and established design systems.
• Actively contribute to a unique marketplace initiative focused on extending product lifecycles and promoting sustainable consumption.
• Facilitate design discussions and workshops, guiding teams towards innovative and user-friendly outcomes.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in UX/UI Design, min. 4-7 years, with a strong portfolio demonstrating impactful work within e-ccomerce, or retail.
• A robust customer-centric design approach, specifically within a B2C context.
• Demonstrated expertise in visual design, with an eye for aesthetics and detail.
• In-depth knowledge of usability principles and industry standards.
• Proven facilitation skills, capable of leading discussions and driving consensus among diverse stakeholders.
