We are looking for a skilled Commerce Transformation Developer to join our team in Romania. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining backend, frontend and APIs for enterprise-grade e-commerce platforms.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, architects, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions that meet our clients' needs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, architects, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend solutions using enterprise grade commerce engines, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Design and implement APIs and integrations with third-party systems (e.g., payment gateways, ERP, and CRM).
- Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and technical workshops with stakeholders.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Perform unit testing and assist in debugging and troubleshooting issues.
- Optimise backend processes for performance and scalability.
- Stay updated on commerce platforms and features and industry trends to drive innovation.
Bachelor's Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in backend development with and javascript and typescript (node.js, angular/react) technologies.
- Hands-on experience with commercetools and other modern headless customer engagement and e-commerce platforms.
- Strong understanding of MACH architecture principles and their application customer experience.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, experience with GraphQL
- Experience integrating with third-party systems (e.g., payment processors, logistics providers, enterprise-resource planning systems, …).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of java is a plus
- Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing requirements.
