Job Title: Senior Network Engineer (TCIE)

Location: Onsite – Bucharest, Romania

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with TCIE certification to join our team in Bucharest. This role requires deep expertise in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting, with mandatory hands-on experience in Cisco and Fortinet technologies. You will work on critical projects, ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level network infrastructure using Cisco and Fortinet solutions.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Implement network security policies, VPNs, and advanced firewall rules.
• Monitor network performance and optimize for reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to support network-related projects and initiatives.
• Perform root cause analysis of network issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations, procedures, and processes.
• Mentor junior network engineers and provide technical guidance.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• TCIE (Trellix Certified Implementation Engineer) certification is mandatory.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies (routing, switching, firewalls).
• Strong experience with Fortinet firewalls and security solutions.
• Solid understanding of LAN, WAN, VLANs, VPNs, and network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Fluent in English; Romanian is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud networking and hybrid environments.
• Additional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or Fortinet NSE 4/5/6.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise or data center networks.
