Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities)
The Global Hosting Service provides and operates highly available 24/7 servers, Iaas and PaaS across multiple global on-premises hosting centers and Public Cloud Service Providers.
The Hosting Service Technical Data Analyst will be a member of the Global Hosting Services (GHS) Service Management team and comes to the organization having experience in managing data at scale with a background in Cloud and IT infrastructure services. The role holder will be responsible for managing GHS Stakeholder Customer requests and providing consultations including:
- Analyze existing data to identify patterns, trends, deviations, and key metrics that help assess the impact of a potential issue.
- Contribute to cloud hosting cost optimization and efficiency initiatives by providing AI and data driven insights and relevant analytical support.
- Collect and understand stakeholder requirements, translating business needs into actionable technical specifications.
- Collaborate with Cloud Engineering and Infrastructure Operations teams to validate technical requirements, address potential challenges, and recommend possible solutions.
The role holder will report into the GHS Service Management team and will also work collaboratively with the PwC IT Services Ltd. Cloud & Hosting operations function.
Responsibilities
- Collect and understand stakeholder requirements, translating business needs into actionable technical specifications.
- Leverage AI-driven tools to inspect existing data, identify patterns, trends, deviations, and key performance indicators, and assess the potential impact of emerging issues.
- Collaborate with Cloud Engineering and Infrastructure Operations teams to validate technical requirements, address potential challenges, and recommend possible solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process workflows, system configurations, and user instruction manuals.
- Support the hosting cost optimization and efficiency efforts by providing essential data.
- Export and/or manipulate data sets for imports in visualization and data analytics tools like Power BI

Mandatory skills
- Experience in analyzing large amounts of data using AI capabilities, analyzing and building
reports, dashboards for the key stakeholders and leadership
- Experience is analyzing financial data
- Advanced skills in Excel (Power Query) and other analytical tools (such as Power BI, Alteryx) to
extract, manipulate, and visualize data for informed decision-making.
- Ability to identify and communicate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical
business representatives.
- Ability to take abstract ideas from inception to completion
- General knowledge and experience in IT and Information Security. Knowledge of fundamental IT
infrastructure technologies, Cloud concepts.
- General knowledge of and experience with ITIL processes - incident, change management,
configuration management, problem management, etc.
- Agile, open-minded, ready to bring and implement new ideas
- Ability to work in a remote, geographically dispersed environment
- Efficient in self-management and independent task management
- Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
- Fluent in communications - oral and written in English
Desired skills
- Minimum Years of Experience: 2+ years of working experience as Data analyst
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure services, preferably Microsoft cloud services
- Preferred Fields of Study: Information Technology, Computer Systems, Management Information Systems, Data Management
