🤖 QA Engineer – Manual & Automation Testing (Frontend)

My client is looking for a QA Engineer with expertise in manual and automation testing to join their growing team and help ensure their Angular-based SaaS frontend continues to exceed customer expectations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute in a greenfield environment and help shape the future of their QA team.

Your Goals

• Build and enhance QA practices to support reliable, efficient software delivery.
• Drive the adoption of manual and automated testing methodologies across the frontend development pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and execute manual test cases for our Angular-based SaaS frontend (Typescript, Angular, NPM/NX).
• Introduce and expand UI automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress) to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Contribute to BDD-based testing using Gherkin and establish consistent acceptance criteria.
• Drive continuous improvements in frontend quality and testing strategy.
• Support performance testing initiatives.
• Document test results, defects, and QA processes in Jira & Confluence.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and UX teams to ensure high-quality UI/UX delivery.

Your Profile

• Experience with frontend UI automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
• Strong understanding of manual testing procedures and test management processes.
• Hands-on experience with BDD and Gherkin.
• Experience in performance testing.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of Jira & Confluence; foundational SQL understanding preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-organized, structured, proactive, and curious, with an ownership mindset.
• UAE residency required.
