We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to drive the delivery of complex, mission-critical systems within aviation and infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate combines hands-on understanding of software engineering, system integration, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and vendors across hardware, IT domains. This role ensures that software and integrated systems are delivered with quality, compliance, and operational readiness.

About ANRA

ANRA Technologies, with offices in Washington DC, London, New Delhi, Dubai  and Estonia, is an international provider of drone operations and traffic management solutions for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) operators and airspace managers. We offer intelligent Machine Learning and AI driven traffic management software capabilities for UAS Traffic Management (UTM) and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) operations.

Key Responsibilities

Software Delivery Management & Technical Leadership

  • Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for mission-critical systems—from requirements and design through development, testing, deployment, and operational support.
  • Work closely with developers, architects, QA engineers, and product teams to translate requirements into actionable technical plans and sprint deliverables.
  • Drive alignment across Agile delivery processes, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, release management, and cross-team coordination.
  • Ensure software components integrate smoothly with supporting infrastructure such as networking, IoT sensors, BMS, consoles, and aviation systems (UTM, ATM, ATC).

Systems Integration, Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Oversee the integration of software platforms with hardware, field devices, APIs, cloud services, and external aviation systems.
  • Manage test planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), regression cycles, and automated testing pipelines, ensuring stable and high-quality releases.
  • Coordinate FAT/SAT testing for hybrid software-infrastructure solutions, validating performance, security, and interoperability.
  • Track defects, non-conformances, and software performance issues, driving root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary technical interface between software teams, product owners, subcontractors, vendors, and aviation authorities (DAEP/DANS).
  • Coordinate software deployments, integration timelines, and technical dependencies across engineering, IT, DevOps, and infrastructure partners.
  • Communicate project status, risks, technical issues, and dependencies to senior leadership and operational stakeholders.
  • Ensure all software and systems delivery aligns with ICAO, DAEP/DANS, Dubai Municipality, and internal compliance standards.

Operational Readiness & Post-Deployment Support

  • Oversee release management, change control processes, versioning, and production rollout of software systems.
  • Support ongoing monitoring, performance tuning, and incident resolution for integrated platforms in mission-critical environments.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, interface specifications, deployment manuals, and support guides.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a technical equivalent.
  • 7–10 years’ experience in software development, technical project management, or software engineering leadership.
  • Proven experience delivering software solutions in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Strong understanding of APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), networking fundamentals, DevOps concepts, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience integrating software with hardware systems, aviation/UTM platforms, sensors, or mission-critical operational systems is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with quality frameworks (ISO 9001), software testing standards, and ITSM/ITIL processes.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • Background in aviation technology, air traffic management (ATM/ATC), or real-time operational software systems.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Agile/Scrum (CSM/PSM), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, ITIL, or similar technical credentials.
  • Strong skills in requirements analysis, API workflows, software architecture concepts, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes,  or monitoring platforms.
