Job Title: Senior .NET Developer

📍 Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid / Onsite as required)

🕒 Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

✔ Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and related frameworks

✔ Build and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and performance tuning

✔ Work on enterprise applications used in banking/financial/wealth management environments

✔ Collaborate with product, QA, business analysts, and architecture teams

✔ Integrate applications with internal and external APIs, services, and financial systems

✔ Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architectural discussions

✔ Ensure high-quality development practices including unit testing, CI/CD, and secure coding

✔ Troubleshoot production issues and assist in investigation & root-cause analysis

✔ Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies for sprint execution and delivery

Required Skills & Experience

🔹 8+ years of professional experience in C#, .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/WebAPI

🔹 Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server (complex queries, indexing, optimization)

🔹 Experience working in banking, financial services, or wealth management (MUST HAVE)

🔹 Strong understanding of data models, financial transactions, trading, payments, or portfolio systems

🔹 Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and integration patterns

🔹 Good knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud environments (nice to have)

🔹 Familiarity with message queues, event-driven architecture is an asset

🔹 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

🔹 Strong communication skills to work with technical and business teams

Nice-to-Have Skills

➕ Experience with Angular/React or front-end frameworks

➕ Knowledge of WealthTech platforms or Trading engines

➕ Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker
