Job Description

• We’re creating end-to-end web experiences from shopping, to search, to ads, news, sports, and gaming.
• Our diverse team works collaboratively to create products and ideas that empower us to move fast to build seamless and delightful experiences for billions of customers worldwide.
• We are looking for a passionate and experienced Product Designer to join our Shopping team.
• In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the future of AI-powered shopping by crafting intuitive, user-centered experiences that delight and empower users across the globe.

Responsibilities:

• Design expressive, human-centered solutions that balance emotion and function, while aligning with internal system guidelines
• Communicate clear perspectives on customer experiences and their underlying rationale using diverse visual storytelling techniques.
• Rapidly visualize concepts for new product experiences or existing ones.
• Partner with product, engineering, research, and design to create beautiful and inclusive expressive content that delights and engages our customers.
• Create or implement prototypes and assist with presentations. Collaborate with other design teams on shared initiatives.
• Develop style guidelines, specs, or other deliverables to document the essential elements of a design solution for development or future use.
• Actively represent the design and collaborate with engineering and product teams to champion customer excellence.
• With an obsessive eye for detail, to ensure quality fit and finish for product releases.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of UX design / UI design/product design work experience required
• Portfolio demonstrating excellence in user experience and interaction design, visual design, creativity, and compelling storytelling.
• Ability to discuss and present an in-depth knowledge of standard design principles: color, typography, layout, brand.
• Excellent & clear communication skills
• Experience in planning and delivering work independently in a collaborative, multi-discipline team.
• Bachelor's degree in interaction design, visual communication, human computer interaction, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (required) and emerging Ai technologies
• Proficiency in advanced prototyping tools, adept at translating design specifications into tangible prototypes, including motion design
• Experience with brand and marketing design, icon design, typographic design is a plus.
• Customer-centric mindset
• The ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment via exceptional time management skills is critical.

Top 3 Must-Have HARD Skills

• Visual & Interaction Design (Figma) : 5–7 years of experience creating high-quality, user-centered designs.
• Presentation Skills : 5–7 years of experience effectively communicating design concepts and decisions to stakeholders.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Partners : 5–7 years of experience working closely with PMs, engineers, and researchers to iterate and deliver designs.
