Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Resident Network Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco networking
technologies and working knowledge of F5 load balancers. The role requires on-site presence to
manage, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high
availability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities
Cisco-Focused Responsibilities (Primary)
Configure, monitor, and support Cisco network devices including routers, switches, and
firewalls.
Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for LAN, WAN, and wireless network issues.
Implement VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), and network segmentation.
Manage and support Cisco IOS/IOS-XE device upgrades and patches.
Monitor network performance, availability, and security events.
Support Cisco security solutions such as ACLs, VPNs, and firewall rule management.
Perform network changes, maintenance activities, and documentation updates.
F5 Responsibilities (Secondary)
Monitor and manage F5 BIG-IP load balancers.
Perform basic configuration and health checks of virtual servers, pools, and nodes.
Support SSL certificate updates and basic troubleshooting of F5 services.
Assist with F5 firmware upgrades under guidance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3–6 years of hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and network security.
Working knowledge of F5 BIG-IP or similar load balancing technologies.
Experience with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
Ability to work independently in an on-site environment.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications
CCNA / CCNP (preferred)
F5 certification (optional / nice to have)
