As a Senior Java Developer, You Will
- Contribute to implementing solution code with great attention to detail while fulfilling Java development best practices;
- Write reusable and testable code, create functional and practical technical documentation;
- Design and architect scalable solutions that integrate across different technologies;
- Find simple solutions for complex business tasks through well-thought-out technical approaches;
- Work with business analysts to create effective and reliable work estimates;
- Proactively address technical issues and risks that can impact the project roadmap and the integrity of the application environment.
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in the IT industry;
- Excellent Java Core;
- Advanced experience in SQL, knowledge of PostgreSQL is a plus;
- Advanced experience working with JPA implementations, Hibernate in particular;
- Excellent Spring stack understanding: Data, Spring Core, MVC, Security, Boot;
- Experience in Single Sign-On (SSO) technology;
- Proficiency in writing and maintaining unit and integration tests;
- Expertise in architectural patterns and experience in building end-to-end functionality and modules from scratch;
- Experience in building and maintaining high-load systems.
- Experience in EdTech or academic publishing, as well as a PhD (or similar research degree), would be a plus for understanding scientific publication workflows.
