Graduate Software Engineer
Newcastle City Centre - 5 days a week onsite

About the Role
A newly formed, high-impact technology team based in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne is looking for Graduate Software Engineers. This is a unique opportunity to get involved from the ground up, working on fast-paced, business-critical initiatives for clients in the finance industry.
If you're someone who thrives in intellectually stimulating environments, enjoys solving real-world problems at speed, and values quality, communication, and ownership, this could be the perfect entry role.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building and owning technical products and systems from concept through to delivery
- Working closely with business users to understand (and challenge) requirements
- Designing and implementing innovative solutions using modern tech stacks
- Staying hands-on with code while remaining curious about the "why" behind the build
- Collaborating with a high-performing team of engineers and domain experts
- Continuously learning and contributing to a growing technical culture
Must-haves:
- Strong OO programming skills (C#/.NET, Python, Java, C++, etc)
- Working knowledge of SQL databases
- Proven ability to work in collaborative, fast-moving environments
- Strong communication skills — verbal and written
- Self-starter mindset with high ownership and attention to detail
- 1st Class Degree in a STEM subject from a Russell Group uni
- Minimum AAB at A Levels or equivalent course
