Senior C# & React Full Stack Developer – Front Office Trading (Energy Team)

£140,000 + Strong Bonus | Hybrid (London)

A London-based Hedge Fund is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (C#, React) to join their Energy Trading Team, working closely with front office traders on a Greenfield trading system. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll collaborate directly with the desk, influencing architecture, leading development, and delivering cutting-edge solutions.

The firm operates across energy, commodities, equities, and financial markets, combining in-house trading technology with a SaaS model used by external clients. This means exposure not only to front-office trading but also to fintech-style product delivery, using the latest tech stack (React.js, TypeScript, modern C#, cloud-native tooling).

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with energy traders to design, code, and test modern trading applications.
• Drive architecture and design decisions, ensuring scalable, testable, and maintainable systems.
• Lead and mentor developers within the delivery team.
• Bridge technical and business domains – translating trading requirements into robust solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and agile delivery.

Required Experience

• 6+ years building event-driven UIs with React/TypeScript.
• 6+ years developing back-end services in C#.
• Strong database knowledge (SQL Server, MongoDB, Postgres).
• Proven exposure to front-office environments (energy or commodities a strong plus).
• Methodical approach to software design and architecture.
• Experience leading teams and contributing to best practices.

Package & Working Model

• Base salary up to £140,000 + strong bonus.
• Hybrid model – 3 days per week in London.
