Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform to manage cloud resources on AWS.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Provision, manage, and scale cloud resources using AWS services, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
• Containerization: Develop, deploy, and manage applications in Docker containers, ensuring smooth container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance, automate scaling, and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
• Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers to ensure seamless deployment of applications, microservices, and infrastructure changes.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services) and hands-on experience with key AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Proficient with Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes for deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills in languages like Bash, Python, or Shell to automate tasks and workflows.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Optional Skills:

• Familiarity with other CI/CD tools and platforms.
• Knowledge of Agile development practices.

Minimum qualifications.

Bachelor’s degree in business information systems (IS), computer science or related field, or equivalent-related IT experience
