Firmware Developer – Embedded Systems

We are hiring multiple Firmware Developers to support integration of existing platform software with new hardware designs and evolving customer requirements. The role involves deep low-level development, HW/SW integration, and debugging in highly constrained environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Adapt and optimize existing platform firmware for new hardware revisions
• Integrate new RTL and hardware designs into firmware layer
• Perform HW/SW co-verification and bring-up activities
• Debug firmware-related failures at system and register level
• Analyse memory usage and optimise for strict RAM/Flash constraints
• Participate in firmware testing, validation and system stability improvement

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience in embedded firmware development
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems
• Hardware bring-up
• RTL integration
• Register-level programming
• Peripheral configuration and driver development
• Practical experience with HW/SW co-verification
• Expertise in debugging constrained systems and root-cause analysis
• Understanding of memory optimization techniques and linker scripts

Desired Technologies

• ARM Cortex-M/A or equivalent
• RTOS or bare-metal systems
• Toolchains: GCC, IAR, Keil
• Debug tools: JTAG, OpenOCD, Lauterbach
