iOS / C++ Software Engineer – Creative Software

Our client is a global developer of professional creative software used across film, gaming, digital art, and product design. They’re expanding the engineering team behind one of their leading 3D creation tools and are looking for an experienced iOS / Objective-C / C++ Engineer to support ongoing feature development and performance improvements. This position is based in the Frankfurt metropolitan area.

The Role

You’ll work across both desktop and mobile environments, helping to shape new capabilities for a widely adopted real-time 3D application. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing new features in C++ and Objective-C
• Developing optimised functionality for iOS/iPadOS
• Improving rendering, geometry processing, and interactive performance
• Collaborating with UX, QA, and engineering colleagues to deliver production-quality releases
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical challenges
• Contributing ideas to the product roadmap and overall technical direction

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

• Strong professional experience in iOS development (Objective-C, Xcode)
• Proficiency in modern C++
• Background in 3D programming, such as rendering pipelines, geometry processing, or GPU-centric development
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach
• Genuine interest in creative tools, digital content creation, or real-time graphics
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues across international teams
