DevOps Engineer
Location: Luxembourg (Hybrid: 5 days onsite per month)
Contract Duration: until 31/12/2026
Daily Rate: €510/day
Citizenship Requirement: European nationality required
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to support one of our key clients in Luxembourg. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the customer’s platform, managing Azure DevOps pipelines, and providing infrastructure and operational support. This role requires strong troubleshooting capabilities, solid understanding of Windows and Linux environments, and the ability to ensure the stability, performance, and security of critical systems.
Objectives of the Assignment
- Maintain and support the customer’s platform across development and production environments.
- Manage and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD processes.
- Provide infrastructure support, incident resolution, and system monitoring.
- Ensure platform reliability, performance, and adherence to security best practices.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps.
- Support build, validation, deployment, and release processes.
- Perform basic system administration on Unix/Linux systems.
- Generate reports on pipeline execution results.
- Support root cause analysis for issues occurring in development or production.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure efficient and secure workflows.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of automation, tooling, and processes.
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience
- 10 years of experience in the field of Support/System/DevOps Engineer.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- In absence of formal degree, minimum 10 years of equivalent professional experience in Support/System/DevOps engineering.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Strong, practical experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, repos, automation).
- Excellent proficiency with Unix/Linux environments.
- Knowledge of Java, including its runtime environment.
- Good understanding of Relational Databases (SQL) and stored procedures.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
