Project Manager
- Location: Hybrid, 2 days/week in Amsterdam office
- Duration: 6-months initial (possible extensions)
- Rate: €78 per hour (40 hours per week)
A leading international financial services programme is seeking a Level E Project Manager to support change initiatives within the payments domain. This role will focus on delivering enhancements to bank transfer processes used for partner payments. The position is initially for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver payment-related change initiatives, with a focus on bank transfer processing.
- Operate within a hybrid Agile/Waterfall project environment.
- Work closely with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams.
- Manage project tasks and ensure alignment with timelines, governance, and reporting standards.
- Support senior project managers with planning, tracking, and programme reporting.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of project management experience.
- Experience managing cross-functional or multi-team projects.
- Ability to understand and communicate moderately technical concepts.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of Agile and hybrid project management methodologies.
- Proven end-to-end delivery of projects.
- Ability to work confidently with technical content and technical stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management across distributed teams and geographies.
- Clear communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
First Two Weeks – What to Expect
- Full handover if covering an existing role.
- Introduction to programme scope, stakeholders, governance, and roadmaps.
- Review of project processes, upcoming deliverables, and payment-flow systems.
- Expected to begin contributing to planning and delivery activities by week three.
Additional Programme Context
- The programme manages regulated payment flows, partner onboarding, KYP/FCRM processes, and financial governance. The role includes both replacement headcount and additional capacity to support programme expansion.
