Java Developer (Senior)

Join our client in developing complex web applications that integrate with healthcare systems using IHE and HL7 standards helping healthcare professionals collaborate better and empowering patients with seamless access to care.

And we are looking for a Senior Java Developer to help make it happen.

What you’ll do?

• Develop and document enhancements to solutions according to planned release scopes and timelines.
• Work independently across the full lifecycle: analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Contribute to agile processes and scrum ceremonies within the R&D team.
• Proactively seek and propose optimizations in development processes and technologies.

What we’re looking for?

To “own” this role, you should bring:

• Minimum 7 years of Java development experience.
• Solid knowledge of Java EE / Jakarta EE (CDI, JPA/Hibernate, etc.).
• Strong experience with REST APIs (server- and client-side).
• Experience with relational databases.
• Good practice in writing unit and integration tests.
• Proficiency with Git and Maven.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

Bonus points if you have:

• Knowledge of HL7 FHIR or other IHE and HL7 standards.
• Familiarity with Ansible, Jenkins, Docker.
• Experience with Keycloak, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.
• Broad IT knowledge and a proactive mindset for proposing improvements.
