As we expand our European capability hub in Slovenia, we’re looking for a Senior Business Architect to drive business architecture strategy, connect processes to platforms, and ensure alignment between business needs and enterprise-wide solution design. This is a high-impact, hands-on architecture role, ideal for someone who thrives in complexity, translates ambiguity into structure, and leads cross-domain design at scale.

What You’ll Do:

• Own the business architecture blueprint across domains, defining how capabilities, processes, systems, and data interact across the enterprise.
• Lead discovery, requirements gathering, and multi-stakeholder workshops to define business needs, constraints, and future-state opportunities.
• Translate business objectives into clear capability models, process flows, value streams, use cases, and operating model components.
• Define and document end-to-end solution architectures across cloud, data, integration, and application layers — partnering with engineering and technical architects.
• Develop architectural artefacts including reference models, business capability maps, decision frameworks, integration patterns, and RACI structures.
• Map the current-state business and system landscape, identifying duplication, fragmentation, risk areas, and opportunities for simplification or automation.
• Shape integration designs using API models, event streams, shared services, canonical data definitions, and governed business flows.
• Establish architecture governance, ensuring solutions meet standards for scalability, interoperability, security, process integrity, and lifecycle management.
• Provide architectural oversight during project delivery, ensuring alignment to strategy, requirements, and target-state architecture.
• Partner with product, engineering, data, and operational leaders to ensure business architecture guides solution design, prioritisation, and investment decisions.
• Support sequencing, dependency mapping, transition planning, and organisational impact assessments for multi-market transformation initiatives.
• Mentor analysts, designers, and product teams on modelling standards, documentation quality, stakeholder facilitation, and architectural decision-making.
• Drive best practices in business analysis, modelling, knowledge management, and enterprise clarity.

About You:

• 15+ years of experience as a Business Architect, Senior Business Analyst, Solution Designer, or Enterprise Architect in complex, multi-system environments.
• Demonstrated ability to design business architectures at scale — from capability models to operating models to system interaction frameworks.
• Experience designing architectures across cloud environments (Azure and/or GCP) and integrated application landscapes.
• Understanding of modern data and platform architecture concepts (lakehouse models, integration layers, event-driven architectures) and tools such as Databricks (advantageous).
• Strong experience with business modelling and analysis standards: BPMN, UML, ArchiMate, value streams, capability frameworks, information flows.
• Proven ability to translate ambiguity into clear, actionable architectural artefacts and structured deliverables.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills — able to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders across regions and seniority levels.
• Experience driving architecture governance, design reviews, lifecycle management, and cross-functional decision-making.
