YOUR MISSION

As our first Delivery Lead, you will define and establish the delivery practices that guide our projects. You’ll work closely with engineers and project leads, introduce consistent standards, and build a scalable, reliable delivery system that supports our continued growth. As many of our projects involve elements of product discovery, prototyping and iterative refinement, you’ll bring a product-oriented mindset to help teams translate business needs into actionable delivery plans.

YOUR DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES

Build and improve delivery processes

• Design and introduce lightweight delivery frameworks, rituals and templates across teams.
• Support early-stage product definition by helping teams clarify requirements, define MVPs and align business goals with technical feasibility.
• Bring clarity to how we plan, scope, communicate and execute AI projects.
• Establish a consistent way of working across all teams.

Enable and coach our technical teams

• Work closely with engineers who currently own projects and help them grow into confident project leads.
• Provide guidance on planning, estimating, communication and stakeholder management.
• Empower teams to deliver independently - without unnecessary bureaucracy.

Support critical projects

• Step in hands-on for high-priority and complex projects to guide delivery and model best practices.
• Collaborate with Tech Leads to ensure delivery quality.
• Maintain a bird’s-eye view of delivery health across all teams.

Improve client experience

• Ensure clear expectations, transparent communication and smooth delivery from start to finish.
• Facilitate product-focused discussions to ensure requirements, success metrics and expected outcomes are clear and feasible.
• Introduce structured reporting and clear escalation paths to ensure smooth, transparent communication throughout projects.
• Run client sessions where needed: planning, demos, retrospectives and alignment workshops.

Prepare the company for scale

• Define the roles and responsibilities for the future delivery organisation.
• Contribute to hiring and onboarding future Delivery Managers or PMs.
• Help establish a predictable, repeatable and scalable delivery function.

• You have solid experience in delivery or project management, ideally in a software agency, consulting or AI/ML environment.
• You enjoy coaching others and improving how teams work, not just managing tasks.
• You understand how to balance structure with pragmatism - just enough process to move fast without chaos.
• You bring strong product thinking - able to help shape requirements, define value, and align delivery work with business outcomes.
• You can communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders.
• You’re comfortable jumping into ambiguity and shaping direction where needed.
• You have experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• You’re motivated by impact - the success of the teams and projects you enable is your success.
• Familiarity with AI or data-driven projects is a plus, and curiosity to learn more is essential.
