Role Summary:

The Salesforce Technical Lead provides technical direction across Bitdefender’s Salesforce ecosystem (Sales, Service, Partner Community Clouds). The role ensures architectural integrity, code quality, scalable solution design, and disciplined DevOps practices. The lead provides mentorship to developers, leads estimations and sprint planning, and maintains alignment with data governance and enterprise architecture standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership and Architecture;
  • Define, document, and communicate end-to-end technical solutions for Salesforce requests across all business lines;
  • Lead technical planning cycles, including architectural design, effort estimations, and sprint commitments;
  • Ensure solutions align with Bitdefender’s data model, integration patterns, security requirements, and long-term scalability.


Hands-On Development:

  • Contribute directly to Apex, LWC, Flow, Integrations, and platform configuration;
  • Unblock developers by solving complex issues, debugging system-level problems, and completing critical-path components;
  • Establish and enforce coding standards, patterns, and reusable components.


Code Quality and Delivery:

  • Review and approve technical designs, merge requests, and production-ready code;
  • Ensure consistency across environments, modularity, maintainability, and adherence to clean-code best practices;
  • Oversee automated testing patterns, regression coverage, and integration test readiness with QA peers.


DevOps and Release Management:

  • Own and optimize Salesforce DevOps pipelines (Gearset, Bitbucket pipelines, Bamboo or similar).
  • Standardize deployment practices, branching strategy, version control discipline, and automated validation tests;
  • Reduce deployment risk through continuous integration, static code analysis, and environment alignment.


Team Leadership and Mentoring:

  • Mentor a team of Salesforce developers, providing coaching on architecture, coding, testing, and performance optimization;
  • Support collaboration with Admins, QA, Business Analysts, and Center of Excellence teams;
  • Improve team efficiency through reusable frameworks, reference implementations, and knowledge-sharing sessions.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with Business Analysts and Product Owners to refine requirements into scalable technical designs;
  • Work with QA, Data Engineering, and COE teams to ensure system stability, data integrity, and aligned architectural standards;
  • Ensure timely escalations and transparency on technical risks, challenges, and dependencies.


Required Qualifications

Technical Expertise:

  • 6–10 years Salesforce development experience, including Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Flow;
  • Proven leadership experience guiding development teams in an enterprise environment;
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture: governor limits, integration patterns, asynchronous processing, and platform events;
  • Proficiency with Salesforce DevOps tooling (Gearset, Bitbucket pipelines, Bamboo or similar Git-based workflows);
  • Experience with complex data models, role hierarchy, sharing architecture, and high-volume system constraints.


Architectural and Delivery Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to design scalable multi-cloud Salesforce solutions;
  • Preferred experience on Sales, Service and Partner Community clouds;
  • Strong experience breaking down requirements, estimating work, and leading technical planning in agile environments;
  • Experience performing code reviews, defining coding standards, and driving engineering excellence.


Soft Skills and Leadership:

  • Ability to mentor developers and elevate overall technical capability of the team;
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for cross-functional alignment;
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.


Preferred Certifications:

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (required)
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II
  • Salesforce Application Architect or System
  • ArchitectScrum/Agile certifications
  • DevOps or CI/CD certifications are andvantage
