Job Summary

Are you ready to make your mark with a global leader in automotive technology products? Stoneridge is looking for a Product Manager to drive the Vision and Driver Assistance (V & DA) product portfolio for the trucks and buses market segment. As a Product Manager, you will manage and drive your product portfolio, ensuring alignment with overall strategic objectives, market needs, and financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop product strategies and technology roadmaps for the Vision & Driver Assistance portfolio for Trucks & Buses market segment
  • Align commercial operations with strategic plans, including revenue, profitability & resource allocation and manage the product lifecycle to drive profitability
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Engineering, Procurement and Production to launch products and develop Go-to-Market strategies
  • Analyze market needs and industry trends, highlighting gaps & opportunities, unique selling propositions and customer benefits
  • Drive and manage the RFQ process, in collaboration with project and program managers
  • Drive P & L reviews and lead regular financial and project steering reviews all the while ensuring profitability and financial control across the product line

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 10 year work experience in product management, ideally within the automotive space with a solid understanding of product discipline and processes
  • Profound knowledge of market applications in trucks and buses as well as technology within own product domain of software, electronics, displays
  • Experience driving P & L results and strong customer relationships
  • Proven people management and leadership skills, ability to lead and coach and get things done in cross-functional environments
  • Knowledge of automotive core tools such as PPAP, APQP
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in project management or engineering with strong academic results, or equivalent background or degree in a field relevant to the role
  • Fluency in English. Knowledge of Swedish is a plus
