Location: Stockholm (Kista) office preferred, or our Gothenburg office.

Reporting to Senior Director, Project Management (based in the US).


Job summary

We’re looking for a proactive (senior) project manager who thrives in a collaborative environment and can drive delivery across multiple software projects.


  • Lead 3-5 concurrent software development projects for a key customer account with varying scopes, timelines, and budgets
  • Drive projects independently from initiation through delivery with distributed development team and customer in a different timezone
  • Work as part of the R&D Project Office team and contribute to unified processes, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage stakeholder relationships including direct customer communication and cross-functional coordination with engineering, product, and business teams
  • Partner with the technical lead to plan and track work, manage risks, and coordinate resources, while the technical lead owns technical decisionsa and team leadership responsibilities
  • Own project budgets and cost management for delivery, ensuring financial targets are met
  • Establish and maintain project governance including status reporting, risk management, and quality assurance processes


Minimum requirements

  • 4+ years of software project management experience with demonstrated progression in complexity and autonomy. Ideally more than 5 years' experience.
  • Proven ability to manage 3-5 projects simultaneously with varying timelines, scopes and budgets
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects and collaborating with teams and customers across different timezones
  • Budget management experience - comfortable working with project financials and delivery costs
  • Proven ability to identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively
  • Track record of independently driving projects from initiation through delivery with minimal oversight
  • Highly self-motivated and hands-on - comfortable doing both project planning and day-to-day execution while proactively anticipating team and customer needs
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to travel to customer or team locations on occassion.
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or similar) in practice, not just theory
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Monday.com, Office Suite, or equivalent)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in business English


It is beneficial if you also have any of the following

  • Program management experience coordinating multiple interconnected projects
  • Experience or background in technical project management, simulation technology, medical sciences or gaming
  • Experience scaling PM processes or building PMO capabilities in growing organizations
  • Power BI or similar reporting/analytics tools
  • Technical scripting ability or comfort working closely with developers
  • AI workflow automation experience (GPTs, process automation)
  • PMP, CSM, or similar certifications


Career path

  • Senior PM track: Progress to Senior Manager Project Management role managing larger, more complex programs and potentially leading other PMs. Develop advanced skills in cross-functional leadership and technical collaboration.
