In this pivotal role, you will define, mature, and scale our project management framework — enabling clarity, consistency, and excellence across teams as we expand.
As the PMO and Project Excellence Manager, you will build the foundation for atNorth’s project and program management practices, drive adoption across the organization, and provide coaching and governance for our most strategic initiatives. You will play a central role in supporting OKR fulfillment, strengthening cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring that critical projects have the visibility, structure, and support they need to succeed.
About the Role:
- Design and roll out atNorth’s program and project management toolbox: processes, templates, reporting structures, and governance models.
- Establish clear minimum expectations for project management across all departments.
- Develop standardized terminology, role descriptions, and accountability models.
- Lead an agile project to establish the framework, and ensure it becomes embedded in everyday work.
- Maintain and continuously improve the toolbox based on best practice and lessons learned.
- Deliver training, coaching, and hands-on support to project and program managers across the organization.
- Define and run the monthly reporting process for all projects and programs in scope.
- Provide transparent reporting to ExCo, and ensure visibility across atNorth.
- Identify projects that need additional support, escalation, or alignment.
- Act as the first point of contact for an overview of strategic projects, OKR-linked initiatives, and projects exceeding scope thresholds.
- Coach project leaders to strengthen planning, stakeholder alignment, communication, risk management, and structured follow-up.
- Ensure best practice in time, cost, and quality management is demonstrated within the PMO itself.
- 10+ years of hands-on program/project management experience.
- Strong background in PM frameworks (PRINCE2, PMP or similar).
- Proven track record in planning, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience coaching or mentoring project managers.
- Excellent collaboration skills across departments, regions, and functions.
- Ability to lead through influence — not hierarchy.
- Experience working in a global, fast-moving environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- Training in coaching/mentoring is an advantage.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Background check is conducted to all our employees.
Through regular one-to-one engagements and monthly wellbeing surveys, we listen carefully to our teams, ensuring that every voice is heard and every opportunity for improvement is embraced. We recognize that innovation and collaboration thrive where people feel truly connected, which is why we come together each week to share ideas, strengthen relationships, and nurture a sense of belonging—sometimes over a simple breakfast and good conversation.
At atNorth, we are building more than infrastructure. We are building a community where people can do their best work and shape the future together.
