TripleTen is a remote-first organization mirroring our students who complete our bootcamps in a remote environment.

Our Tutors are the first line of support for students studying on our programs. Assisted by our Learning AI Assistant, Dot, they answer student questions about program materials, help students fix mistakes in their projects and exercises. They advise students with best industry practices on how to complete their work, and provide “human” expertise that might be outside of the scope of our AI bot.

What you will do

  • Communicate with students on Discord in text — they deal with different questions from students including a deeper explanation of theory, helping with code debugging, helping understanding the task, pointing out difference between concepts, supporting and navigating students in their projects
  • Validate the answers of the AI Learning Assistant bot to the students, correcting the bot’s answers if necessary
  • Report feedback on the AI Learning Assistant bot’s answers and overall work
  • Proactively reach out to students in Direct Messages based on the support team’s requests
  • Communicate with the team and report students that might need more in-depth help on a topic

Requirements

1+ years of UX/UI design experience, including:

  • User-Centered Design: Familiarity with design fundamentals, such as visual design principles, user personas, and journey mapping, to guide students in creating impactful, user-focused designs.
  • UX Research and Testing: Knowledge of conducting user research, usability testing, and interpreting feedback to help students validate design choices.
  • Prototyping and Interaction Design: Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, or similar tools for wireframing and prototyping, ensuring students build cohesive and functional interfaces.
  • Accessibility and Ethical Design: Understanding of design systems and accessibility standards to support students in creating inclusive designs.
  • Patience and ability to break down complex problems to less experienced peers, love for helping others and sharing one’s experience
  • Being careful with communication, ability to structure their thoughts clearly and concisely
  • Teaching or tutoring experience, even if not in development
  • Confident skills in using Discord
  • Good level of written English
  • Ability to work full-time aligned with US time zones, and readiness to dedicate 40 hours a week to this project on a fixed schedule
