Are you an experienced Backend Developer with strong hands-on expertise in AWS cloud services and high-performance backend engineering? This opportunity allows you to build scalable, secure, and automated backend solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive digital acceleration within a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Working with one of our top clients, this position calls for an AWS Backend Developer who can design, implement, and optimize backend architecture using AWS serverless and container-based services. The ideal candidate brings deep AWS knowledge, strong programming skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into secure, high-performing technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Implement backend solutions using AWS services—such as Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, EC2, DynamoDB, and S3—ensuring all code meets security, performance, and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into detailed designs and production-ready code.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to define, analyze, and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
  • Evaluate solution options, assessing cost, performance, scalability, and system impact, and recommend optimal designs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners while offering technical consulting and analytical support.
  • Conduct independent analysis, drive initiatives, and support project deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop backend solutions that are scalable, reusable, and supportable, and identify automation opportunities to increase operational efficiency.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing solution quality and delivery practices.
  • Work within an Agile environment, contributing to continuous improvement and fostering a collaborative team culture.

Desired Skill Set:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong programming experience building high-volume, high-availability backend applications.
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, EC2, DynamoDB, and S3, and deep understanding of cloud-native architectures.
  • Proficiency with programming languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, TypeScript, AWS SDK, and data formats including JSON and XML.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, backend design patterns, and microservices architecture.
  • Ability to evaluate trade-offs, balance competing priorities, and collaborate constructively across teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
