Based at our Jurong office, the FP&A Analyst will be responsible for business partnering for our Singapore Cluster, working along with Customer Service, operations and Sales. Pivotal to this role will be analysing financial data to facilitate internal and external decision-making processes including examining costs, revenue, expenditure, cash flow, profitability, and operating performance to provide valuable insights for strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and communicate financial and operational data for strategic planning purposes, ensuring data and system integrity
- Track, analyse, and control project costs, including mobilisation / demobilisation, service materials, and other indirect cost
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and quarterly financial forecasts
- Prepare and distribute business performance metrics, month-end, and year-end reports
- Review depot/site costs and identify control issues to the internal controls team
- Ensure adherence to financial controls within relevant operating departments
- Collaborate with relevant managers on budgeting and forecasting for multiple departments
- Support the development of systems for monitoring costs, including capital cost of new equipment and financial returns
- Assist in the monthly review of tax charges and forecast payments
- Provide data for ad hoc analytics as required by management
- Analyze fiscal and operational data to support financial, capital, and manpower planning
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits
- Previous experience in a similar role delivering the above responsibilities
- Strong experience using an ERP system (SAP etc) and a core understanding of accounting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Degree in finance or similar, with CPA membership highly advantageous
- A background in data analysis would be highly regarded
- Strong communication skills, able to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong presentation skills – able to independently create and present MBR’s and monthly meetings to MD level
