About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Frontend Engineer to join our team and help develop the next generation of Mochi's pharmacy software platform. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of telehealth and pharmacy operations, where your contributions will set new standards for pharmacy workflows. As a senior member of our engineering team, you will take ownership of designing and implementing scalable, modern frontend systems that directly influence core pharmacy operations. Your work will involve building high-performance, user-friendly interfaces that enhance operational efficiency and reliability at scale. This platform will also serve as a foundational tool for Mochi's data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives, enabling us to optimize pharmacy performance through AI-powered insights. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams, driving frontend architecture decisions, mentoring engineers, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of front-end development experience with a strong focus on React and React Native
• Experience with mobile development using Kotlin/Swift is preferred
• Proven track record of leading technical initiatives and delivering scalable, high-performance web and mobile applications
• Deep expertise in modern front-end tooling such as TypeScript, CI/CD pipelines, and component-driven architecture
• Strong knowledge of state management strategies and complex UX optimization in data-heavy applications
• Passion for creating fast, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing user experiences
• Startup mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, take ownership, and solve problems at scale
• Experience with healthcare-related applications, manufacturing, inventory management software, or SaaS products is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, optimization, and expansion of Mochi's web and mobile applications to ensure performance, security, and scalability
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, Design, and Backend—to deliver seamless and intuitive user experiences
• Own key architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers to elevate frontend standards across the organization
• Implement modern frontend tooling, component-driven architecture, and efficient state management solutions
• Optimize real-time interactions between patients, providers, and pharmacies with a focus on accessibility and usability
• Drive innovation within the engineering team, fostering a culture of technical ownership and continuous improvement
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code through best practices and rigorous testing
