IT Director – Healthcare Technology

Whitehall Resources are seeking an experienced IT Director to work with a leading organisation. You will be responsible for overseeing the technology strategy and all clinical and business systems. This senior role is responsible for driving digital transformation, ensuring secure and reliable IT operations, and delivering innovative solutions that support outstanding patient care.

This role would be based in Qatar on a permanent basis and would be open to candidate who can relocate.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the IT strategy, roadmap, and digital transformation initiatives
• Oversee EMR, PACS, ERP and all hospital systems, including integration and performance
• Manage IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, and business continuity
• Direct IT policies, budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships
• Build and lead a high-performing IT team, ensuring efficient operations and regulatory compliance

What we’re looking for:

• Strong healthcare IT experience, including EMR/PACS implementation
• Proven leadership in IT operations, strategy, and digital transformation
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and enterprise systems
• Experience managing budgets and complex technology projects
• SAP knowledge preferred
• 8+ years of IT experience, including 5 in a supervisory role
