About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Architect to join a major development in Muscat. The successful candidate will oversee architectural works on-site, ensuring full compliance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and thematic requirements. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in theme parks, water parks, or large entertainment projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
- Supervise on-site works to ensure alignment with design intent, specifications, and building codes.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams on architectural issues.
- Review material samples, mock-ups, finishes, and façade treatments.
- Ensure effective coordination with MEP, structural, and landscape disciplines.
- Inspect works at critical stages and issue NCRs when necessary.
- Resolve design and site conflicts through RFIs, field modifications, and technical guidance.
- Monitor detailing and quality of themed structures, facades, and architectural features.
- Assess proposed design changes for technical, aesthetic, and functional impact.
- Participate in final inspections, snagging, and handover.
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Project Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- 10+ years of experience, including 3+ years working on theme parks, water parks, or major entertainment projects.
- Strong knowledge of international building codes, architectural detailing, and themed design requirements.
- Excellent site coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
