Impressit is looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to join a cross-functional product team building an Intelligent Asset Orchestration platform for energy, mobility, and grid assets. This is a great opportunity to shape the architecture of a high-impact system optimising operations across EV fleets, microgrids, and large-scale energy storage - while working with cutting-edge cloud and AI-driven technologies in an international environment.

What do we expect?

— 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily focused on backend development

— Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core / .NET 8+, asynchronous programming, and microservices architecture

— Solid experience with Azure Cloud Services (Functions, App Services, Service Bus, Event Hub, etc.)

— Proven experience designing and integrating REST APIs, data pipelines, and event-driven systems

— Strong knowledge of databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORMs (Entity Framework Core)

— Excellent understanding of clean architecture, CI/CD, and testing best practices

— Excellent problem-solving skills, systems thinking, and a proactive mindset

— Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English

What will you do?

— Architect, develop, and maintain backend services in .NET 8+, handling high-throughput and real-time data from distributed assets

— Build and deploy cloud-native services in Azure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security

— Integrate with IoT and edge systems, asset telemetry, and third-party APIs (EV fleets, charge-points, energy systems)

— (Optional) Contribute to frontend features using React and TypeScript for dashboards and data visualisations

— Lead architectural design discussions, mentor engineers, and drive best practices in code quality, CI/CD, and monitoring

— Ensure efficient handling of real-time insights, asset optimization, and AI-driven workflows

As a plus:

— Frontend skills with React, JavaScript/TypeScript

— Experience with IoT, asset telemetry, EV fleet management, or energy systems

— Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)

— Familiarity with observability and testing tools (App Insights, Grafana, Postman, automated testing frameworks)

— Experience in SaaS platform development with large-scale distributed systems
